Unable to Access Xfinity WiFi Hotspots Despite Active Internet Subscription

Hello Xfinity Support,

I currently have an active Xfinity Internet subscription, but I am unable to connect to Xfinity WiFi hotspots using my Samsung Galaxy S26.

Whenever I try to connect to the "xfinitywifi" network, I am redirected to the NOW WiFi Pass login page, where I receive the following error:

"An active pass was not found. Please check your information and try again."

I have already tried using the Xfinity app, but the issue remains unresolved.

I also attempted to contact a live agent through Xfinity Assistant, but I was unable to reach one.

Could you please investigate my account and help me access Xfinity WiFi hotspots using my existing Internet subscription?

Thank you.

user_l28ekgThank you for reaching out. I'd like to ask a few questions to help narrow this down:
  • Are you an Xfinity Internet customer or a NOW Internet customer?
  • Are you using your primary Xfinity ID to sign in?
  • Does this happen at multiple Xfinity WiFi hotspots or just one location?
  • Have you already tried forgetting the xfinitywifi network and reconnecting?

As a quick troubleshooting step, please forget the xfinitywifi network, reconnect, and attempt to sign in again. Xfinity Internet customers should normally be able to sign in with their Xfinity ID when connecting to an eligible Xfinity WiFi hotspot.

I'm an existing Xfinity Internet customer, but I'm having trouble connecting to the "xfinitywifi" public hotspot using my Samsung Galaxy S26.

Previously, when I tried to connect, I was redirected to the NOW WiFi Pass login page, which indicated that I didn't have an active pass.

Now, when I connect to "xfinitywifi," the login page (login.xfinity.com) displays the following error:

Access Denied
"You don't have permission to access 'http://login.xfinity.com/login' on this server."

I've tried forgetting the WiFi network and reconnecting, but I still can't access the internet.

Has anyone experienced this issue or found a solution?

As an existing Xfinity Internet customer, I believe I should be able to access eligible Xfinity WiFi hotspots without purchasing a NOW WiFi Pass.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi, user_l28ekg. I'm sorry to hear you are running into trouble accessing our WiFi Hotspots. As a residential customer, you certainly have access to our millions of hotspots nationwide, which we cover here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/about-xfinity-wifi-internet. Are you able to successfully connect with other devices besides the S26, or do you have this error with any device?

Thank you for your response.

I have tried connecting with multiple devices, and the same issue occurs on all of them. None of my devices can successfully connect to the xfinitywifi hotspot.

Since this issue affects all my devices, I suspect it may be related to my Xfinity account or the hotspot authentication system rather than a device-specific problem.

Could you please check whether my account is properly authorized to access Xfinity WiFi hotspots?

Thank you for your help.
