15 year old plasma tv cannot connect to xfinity

My 15 year old Panasonic TV will no longer connect to Xfinity. I have tried several HDMI cables and all three ports, but it no longer connects. It did connect in the past, but I haven't used it in many months. I know the Input setting on my TV is correct. How can I fix this?

Good afternoon @user_9pj0wt, and  thank you for reaching out to us on our Community Forums—we appreciate your time. I understand you’re having trouble connecting your plasma TV to your network, and we’ll be happy to help troubleshoot.

To get started, are you seeing any error messages or codes displayed on your TV when you attempt to connect? Additionally, could you please confirm the make and model of your TV?

This information will help us provide the most accurate next steps.

It's a Panasonic TC-P42G25

I do not get any error message or code.

I am able to connect a Roku Premiere device to the same HDMI port using a cable supplied by Roku. However, when I connect the cable box to the same port using the same cable, it doesn't recognize anything. Just no connection at all. I have tried hard booting everything and even returned the TV to factory settings.

Thank you @user_9pj0wt for confirming that you’re not receiving any error messages and for providing the make and model of the TV—we appreciate that information.

To help narrow this down, can you please confirm whether your cable box works when connected to a different TV? Additionally, are you experiencing any issues connecting other devices to your network, or does the issue appear limited to this TV only?
