4k and DVR and coax

I called asking about 4k tv and was sent a xi6-t box. It is wireless only and does not have DVR. Do I need to give up coax and DVR just to get 4K? It took me half a day to get through to order the 4k box so trying here in case there are some knowledgable answers.

Hello there! The correct box for your DVR needs would be the XG1v4 TV Boxes which are DVRs. We can place an order here for you if you are still in need of the correct box or this can also be exchanged through your nearest Xfinity Store in person. You can find your nearest store over at xfinity.com/store.

I appreciate the response and clarification. No need to send. I will visit a store, though expedition will be no picnic based on past experiences.

For the record, my receipt of the xi6-t box was the end result of much time online and even more time on the phone, eventually leading to a conversation with an Xfinity rep. He was very aware of my current setup and needs, yet apparently still sent the wrong box. Yuck.

I've received several XG1v4s through this forum.  Less success going to the store.  They only had this DVR in stock once.
