4K streaming box
I just received a 4K streaming box and a have an X1 main box with DVR. I'm afraid of losing my recordings and future recordings if I activate it. I have 2 satellite boxes for which this will replace one. I can see my recordings on Xfinity stream so she's that mean they're in the cloud and safe?

Hello user_3aktkp the primary recordings are stored in the main X1 DVR, so if the new 4k box is for a secondary cable box, then there's no concern with losing content. If the recordings in question are seen via the Cloud DVR, then they are being stored online.
