Airplay causes X1 to hang

I run my X1 thru a Yamaha RX-6A. Every time I listen to anything over Airplay and switch back to the HDMI port the X1 is on, the X1 will not respond to the remote. Its locked until I power cycle it. What could one possibly have to do with the other?

Hello, @user_7uarmz sorry to have read about this issue. That sounds really inconvenient. Looking up the Yamaha RX-V6A receiver it does list that it is known for having difficulty with input switching. I cannot say for sure since this is not Comcast equipment. I would check the HDMI Control (CEC) and ARC on the receiver.

Seems that turning off HDMI control on the receiver solved the issue
