auto skip feature now worse

Why can't Xfinity solve a simple software problem Tivo solved years ago.  Until recently when fast forwarding through commercials it would stop way too soon.  Now it stops too late.  Do the Tivo solution of going to that same new spot then rolling back 15 seconds.  Problem solved.  Also have it work for all the channels like Tivo did.

Happens on all content.  Some shows it does not matter, but some shows have new action or dialog immediately that has been skipped over.

user_b3547x That sounds like an annoying problem to deal with, and we are sorry that it is happening. Can you please go here (https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-reboot-my-set-top-box) and go to 'Restart your TV Box from the Help Menu'? We're hoping restarting the box will fix the problem.
