Cable box TV delay

This is the same question as a previous post from October 2023. My supposedly “live” cable feed from my cable box in my home is significantly delayed from:

1. the sports scores from the cable box

2. online Xfinity streaming (I.e. TVGo)

3. Any notifications from sports or fantasy apps

4. all my friends using other STREAMING platforms like YouTubeTV send updates (celebration or frustration texts) because their stream is actually live

Has this issue STILL not been resolved a year later?!? Please advise!

What’s the answer Xfinity? The box & the app are both yours & the wifi they’re using is the same. X1 & all boxes are at least 90 seconds behind your app’s live tv.
Free over air tv is  noticeably faster too.

user_dy8we4 Thanks for your comment. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing a similar issue. We'd like to help get to the bottom of this. To make sure we don't go over double steps. I'd like to ask some additional questions. What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
