Cable TV Box Not Supporting Rewind Features Previously Used
Xfinity recently replaced our cable TV box. With the previous box that wasn't that old, we always left the box on the same channel at the end of the days viewing. The next morning, when we turned on the TV to watch a favorite program on the channel we left it on the night before, if late, we could always rewind up to 120 minutes and resume. With this "new" box, I have lost that capability. When I turn the TV on, I can't rewind past the point on the TV turning on. My suspicion is that the box is going to sleep, but I turned off all power saving features. I have been told that the box still has a "nap" feature that works even if power saving is turned off. Is that true? The rewind feature was one we use often in the mornings and now it seems to be gone. Can someone provide some insight plesae?
