Can't pair remote to A Tyler TV

I have a small off brand(Tyler TV) with a wireless X1 box and XR15 remote. The box is clearly working fine and I am able to change the channels , use the Xfinity button etc. I am unable to pair the remote to change the volume or power the unit off. I need to use the Tyler remote to do these functions. The bigger problem is that if I power off the tV with the Tyler remote, when I turn it back on I need to reboot the box and wait over 10 minutes to again get the tV pictured cable box functionality. When I follow the prompts to pair the remote I get the message to list the brand of TV and when I type in TY Tyler shows up, I check it and it endlessly searches (over 10-15 minutes) and simply reverts to the tv station that was on without pairing. I have switched boxes and remotes twice. I have spent hours with customer service, who, while cordial seem perplexed. They have suggested pushing A and D, 981 etc to reset remote. They suggested holding the microphone button and Xfinity button and after light changes entering 32064. I get a green double blink but nothing happens. I'm beginning to think Xfinity remote can't pair with this TV. I read one suggestion for another off brand pairing issue which said to press A and D then enter 991 and keep hitting the channel up button until the TV turned off then hit OK to lock the code in. After well over 50 pushes the TV muted but nothing happened with power or volume. I needed to unmute with the Tyler remote. I'd appreciate suggestions. I suspect a different TV may be the answer

Hi there, @tst_479! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble getting the X1 remote to work with your TV. I have actually never worked with that brand of TV before but from what you've described, it does sound like that model may not be fully compatible with our remotes. That is some pretty extensive troubleshooting! Do you happen to know the actual model number of the TV?
