Chronic issues

Having chronic issues with remote lag time, rewind & fast forward working intermittently (often says not available) and screen freezing. Have performed all the recommended xfinity work arounds to no avail. 

My cable box is a XG2v2-P installed in 2021. My TV is a LG OLED65GXPUA. xfinity recently sent me the updated X8 modem which is now operating. Please advise, my cable bill is considerable and I feel that my service is not up to par. Is there an updated cable box with current software that can correct these deficiencies and complement the capabilities of my TV?

Good afternoon user_2z76j2. We can certainly look into this further for you. I definitely understand the frustration if certain functions are not working as they should. We want to make sure we get this resolved for you. Are you experiencing issues on multiple TVS, and with multiple remotes?

We do not watch the other TV,s often as they are in guest rooms. This TV is our primary one and used by us most of the time. Have not streamed from others. 

Recently purchased Paramount + to continue the Landman series and streaming is deplorable & unwatchable.
