DISABLE SCREENSAVER ALREADY!

You know it’s a disliked feature so it’s passed time to make it possible to turn OFF. My dog has separation anxiety and I used to be able to leave the tv on all day no problem and now with a new tv hooked up and an updated gateway, the screen saver pops up at 5 hours, the max time allowed to watch with no activity and he isn’t learning to use the remote. This is unacceptable to force people to use this feature if it’s so disliked.

Just got off the phone with Xfinity and apparently it's a feature that's here to stay without our approval, whether we like it or not.  I've been a loyal customer for 30 years and this is what you get, so much for loyalty.  I guess it's time for a change and cut the cord completely and go wireless with another company!!!

Hi @user_7cm0qb Thank you for reaching out regarding the Xfinity X1 screensaver. At this time the screen saver can not be disabled however, you can change the settings to 5 hours. To make the changes you would press the Xfinity key then Setting Icon>Device Settings>Screen Saver>Screen Saver Start After. From here you can choose 5, 15, 30 minutes, or 5 hours.  I will ensure your feedback is submitted regarding the screensaver as we are always looking for new ways to improve the customer experience.

I no longer have xfinty service on my phone. The phone is owned by me, paid in full. I would really like to have xfinity logo on start up removed on the screen. How can I remove all association with xfinity on my device. They have overcharged for too long and caused years of stress it is a PTSD issue with them.

user_mjszl7 After reviewing online, there doesn't seem to be a way to remove the boot up logo from appearing. The device would be carrier unlocked so you can use it with another compatible carrier, but the boot up logo would still remain.
