DVR playback on TV skips, but fine when streaming through the app

Good evening.

i am having an issue with playing DVR recordings, as described here. https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/x1/dvr-playback-on-tv-corrupted-but-fine-when-streaming/6789a7edec3cb6282637e547 It occurs with a number of different programs and occurs on all three of my x1 boxes, but it does NOT occur when I stream the same programs to my tablet. The pauses are always in the exact same place for a given program… meaning if I replay it it always pauses for about 5 seconds then skips in the same place on all three boxes. I have tried unplugging each of the boxes and letting them restart, without change. I do not have these issues with live tv.

two of my boxes are wired, one is wireless, so it wouldn’t seem to be a signal strength issue. And because the same programs stream normally to an app on my tablet, the centrally stored programs are presumably fine. 

i have not tried this with a non 4k box, as I do not have one.

I have tried unplugging and plugging back in the boxes, and sending refresh signals. No change. Anyone have ideas?
