DVR Recording Conflict

When more than 2 shows are schedule to be recorded at the same time, a third show is not recorded "Recording Conflict". Model is a XG2v2-P. Do I require a specific XFinity DRV service to record 6 shows?

@user_2ujgr4 With Xfinity X1, you can record up to six shows simultaneously. This feature is available with standard DVR service. If you have a smaller DVR storage option (like 20 hours), you may only be able to record two shows at once.

Why does it matter if you have the “free” 20 hour DVR storage ? Why does that change how many shows you are attempting to record at the same time as long as the recording time is under 20 hours? When I was  trying to lower my bill and the 20 hour storage option was presented to me, by an Xfinity employee, I was not informed that it would limit how many shows I could record at the same time. I’m confused.

user_a805b4 Here is a great link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-dvr-overview that will provide an overview of our X1 DVR service that should help with any concerns you might have.
