Have you tried these steps?
1. Uninstall the Xfinity Stream app on your iPad.
2. Clear your cookies/browsing data for Xfinity. (You will need to know your login information since you will be signed out.)
3. Restart the iPad.
4. Reinstall the Xfinity Stream app on your iPad.
5. Log in and try to download the shows again.
Please let me know if this fixes the problem or not. We can take further steps if this does not do the trick.
