Error code XRE-00274

I recently switched my digital adapter with the main DVR because I've been having so many problems trying to watch Peacock. Every time I had an issue with the main DVR, I'd check the TV with the digital adapter and it would work fine. Now when trying to watch TV with the digital adapter, a message pops up with Error code XRE-00274 saying my instant memory card has been removed. To pause and rewind the TV, please reinsert the card. I have no idea what they're talking about but I wonder if it had something to do with the fact I was trying to watch Netflix and had to pause it but it wasn't pausing. Instead the TV froze. I kept trying different button to get the TV to do something but nothing was working. Then all of a sudden, the welcome screen showed up and apparently the Digital adapter was trying to reboot. The screen kept going black every so often and the Welcome screen would come back on. I watched this for around 15 minutes and finally got disgusted so I decided to unplug the Digital adapter and see if it would actually reboot. 45 minutes later, the TV finally rebooted and I was able to watch TV but that error message first showed up. Do I need to replace this Digital adapter? I don't know how old it is but I know it's really old and was only used maybe a few times a year if even that.

@XfinityAmira Thanks for wanting to help me but I ended up bringing my digital adapter to an Xfinity store and swapped it with a new one. The clerk actually told me I should replace a second digital adapter and my main DVR so I did. I watched TV last night with new equipment and didn't have any issues. I'm hoping I can continue to watch TV without any problems but only time will tell.
