seattlepatty That is such a great question, figure skating is definitely a highlight of the Winter Games in my house! Since it often airs at odd hours or across multiple channels, setting your DVR is the way to go so you don't miss a single jump.

The easiest way to do this is using your Xfinity Voice Remote. Here is the quickest path:

  1. Use Your Voice: Hold down the Microphone button and simply say "Olympic Figure Skating." 2. The "Olympics Destination": This will take you to a dedicated landing page for the sport. From there, you'll see a list of upcoming live events and broadcasts.

  2. Set the Recording: Highlight the event you want to watch, press OK, and select Record.

A couple of Tips for the Olympics:

  • Record the "Series": Instead of picking individual segments, look for an option to "Record Series." Because Olympic schedules can shift, this helps ensure the DVR catches the coverage even if the timing moves slightly.

  • Add "Extra Time": Live sports can sometimes run over. When you set the recording, you can go into "Options" and choose to stop the recording 30 minutes late just in case the medals ceremony or a final skater goes long.

  • The Xfinity Stream App: If you’re away from your TV, you can open the Xfinity Stream app on your phone, search "Olympics," and set the DVR right from your device.

By the way, would you like me to make sure your plan includes the USA Network and NBC? Most of the figure skating will be split between those two, so I want to make sure you're covered! If so, please send me a direct message with your full name and address.

To send a "Direct Message":

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (it looks like a text bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
