Hi, just got the new Remote and TV box. Can someone help me figure out how to scan/view new TV channels while staying on one's current channel? Thanks!

You've come to a great place for support! Our Digital Care Team is awesome to work with because we'll always do whatever we can to help, answering all your questions along the way :) We've combined or merged your latest two posts since they both deal with your remote.

First, it sounds like the TV Box may be auto-tuning to the best available resolution as seen here. You are welcome to follow the steps within that link to turn this feature off, but keep in mind that you may start viewing lower-resolution channels (in SD) when higher resolution (HD) is available. Let us know if you have any questions about that part!

When pressing "Guide," you shouldn't be taken from your current channel while viewing the other channels within your guide, but I want to make sure we understand your concern. Is there something happening to the channel you're on when you attempt to view other channels within the guide?
