HELP with on & off black screens

Screen turns black & on in a random order.  Some flashes on and off at a rate of secs, sometimes rate is slower, sometimes seems completely random.  Sometimes stays black for hours; sometimes stays on for hours.  Black screen changes to pretty picture that says NO SIGNAL. Have turned router & set top on and off in every conceivable order more times than I can count.  Have checked all connections. Spent hours last week trying to get help - couldn't even get problem recognized.

HELP!!!! Please send someone out!

user_qe5m72 I appreciate you creating a post and am sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your TV box. I'd always recommend starting with the Xfinity app/website to run diagnostic troubleshooting to see if there is a detected signal issue that could be causing the trouble. If you are not experiencing any degradation with your internet or possibly another TV box as well, I'd recommend bringing the TV box to a local Xfinity Store to swap it out. It may be the box itself that is having trouble holding the signal, which causes the black screens or resets to the No Signal screen.
