How do I create and add to a playlist?

On X1 remote, when you click the Xfinity button, you are given a bunch of options. I select “Saved” and then scroll all the way to the right and come to “Playlists”.

it shows three playlists I had previously created with a couple items on each list.

i want to create a couple more playlists and add content to each. This way it will be easier to go through “My List” when I’m looking for a specific genre (like all movies on Pluto). It can’t be that hard, I’d done it before, but I can’t figure out how to do it now.

or is this another useful feature that is no more.

Hello Ata1anta, thank you for taking the time to reach out here in our Xfinity Community forum. This one was a head scratcher! I did some searching and got this:

We do not have a function (at least anymore) for a general playlist creation feature for on-demand or general video content, though users manage saved shows via My List or organize DVR recordings.

How to Save Content Instead
  • Add to My List: Press the Info button on your remote while watching a show or browsing the guide, select More Info, and choose the + sign to add it to your My List on X1. Access your saved items by pressing the Xfinity button, selecting Saved, and scrolling to My List.

I hope you find this helpful.

@XfinityJeffB So the playlist function is no longer available.

I already use the “My List” function and wanted a way to organize the content. As it is, content is ONLY organized by most recently added so if I want to find something I added a while ago, I have a lot of scrolling to do.

It’s a shame this function is no longer available as it was quite useful.

Ata1anta, There should still be a few steps here that can help you manage your playlist in the meantime at XFINITY Manage Playlist. Let us know if this helps!
