How many simultaneous shows can I record with two DVRs?

I have had two DVRs for a very long time.  I had them for additional recording space and being able to record more than six shows at a time.  With all the games the networks play with their shows (starting 1 minute early, ending 2 minutes late) I am starting to have more and more recording conflicts. Looking at my scheduled recordings, I cannot record more than six shows at a time.  Is that the limit now no matter how many DVR boxes you have?

I guess my next question is, do I still get any additional storage from the second DVR?  Should I just get rid of the second DVR box and replace it with a regular box (and save myself $10 per month)?

Yes. See https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/x1/i-have-two-dvrs-how-many-shows-should-i-be-able-to-record-at-once/60334b66c5375f08cd6decac?commentId=60334b9ec5375f08cd74eef0. You'll love the excuse they give.

A second DVR gets you more storage space, but you are still limited to 6 simultaneous recordings.

user_kj102a Thanks for posting on our Community Forums for assistance. The number of Simultaneous recordings (tuners) depends on the DVR service. Our base Cloud DVR (20 Hours) allows up to two programs at a time. If you subscribe to our regular DVR service (150 hours) or Premium DVR (300 Hours) you would get up to 6 tuners. I hope this helps!
