I am unable to activate Peacock on my Xi6 boxes. Does anyone know how to help me?

I have TWO TVs and TWO Xi6 boxes - one is a Xi6-T and the other is a Xi6-A

for YEARS I have been able to watch Peacock for free, as part of my xfinity plan. It worked fine.

Then in the last couple of days it stopped working and is asking for me to Activate it on my Xi6 boxes.  But when I try to activate it shows the subscription is already active.

And indeed, on my iphone, in the peacock app, it links automatically to my xfinity account and I have full access to all content.

But on my TVs, via the Xi6 boxes, I can't link to my xfinity account.

NOTE this just happened, and (again) I had been watching Peacock for a number of years as part of my xfinity plan.

I have spent many hours with support agents (many agents!) and they are unable to help me.

To summarize:  Xfinity shows my Peacock subscription is ACTIVE.  I can watch Peacock in the APP on my iphone.  I can not access my subscription via my Xi6 TV boxes.  This problem happened in the last week or two.  I have been successfully watching Peacock for YEARS prior to this.

Does anyone have any ideas what I should try?

Thank you!

user_m1jddz Thank you for reaching out! I would recommend signing in to your Peacock account from a web browser and go to Peacock Devices. From there you should see a list of devices that are accessing your Peacock account, I would recommend signing out of all devices. Once that is completed, restart your Xfinity Xi6 boxes, and try accessing Peacock. When signing in, be sure your credentials match the same credentials used to access your Peacock account online.

@XfinityBrianH

I have a technician coming out tomorrow morning (Monday).  I am having frequent issues with both TV boxes (an Xi6-T and a Xi6-A) which are attached to two different TVs in the house.  They have to be restarted because of weird connection issues (for example, the screen freezes).  I suspect that since they are 3 or ? years old.. that they need to be replaced.  I need help from a technician for this.  I would guess the weird Peacock service problem was related.

I'll update this thread.

Hi there! @user_m1jddz How did the appointment go yesterday? Was the connectivity in the boxes corrected and are you also able to access Peacock on both boxes now?
