Insane broadcast delay

Has anyone ever received an answer about the insane live broadcast delay on xfinity? During football games I’m a solid 3-4 plays behind anyone else watching. I can’t take it anymore. The ending of every game I try to watch is ruined before I see it.

There’s no way sketchy online streaming websites should be a minute ahead of my paid for cable.

user_shx4uq thank you for using the Community Forums page to reach out regarding your video concerns. As a big fan of football myself, I know how frustrating it would be to have delays in the live broadcast. I would be happy to take a closer look at what is causing this issue for you. What troubleshooting steps have you already attempted with your video service?

I see stats for players that the play hasn’t even happened yet. If you’re being beat by streaming, you’re losing the battle. Be better!

The delay is at least 30 seconds when viewing a live sporting event using your cable box. If you switch to your phone (same home network). Your delay is practically non existent. Problem is with the cable box. I am not sure why Comcast can fix the issue with their cable boxes.

Petey123 thank you for using the Xfinity Community Forums page and sharing your experience with viewing broadcast content live. I know how important a linear connection working as intended is, especially when it comes to sporting events that may have notifications alerting you prior to seeing what actually transpired. I would be happy to look into some troubleshooting with your video equipment if you have a moment.
