Internet Outage?

Is there currently an internet outage in my area??

my TV is not working.

Check their site for official info on any possible local outages here;

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.

I have this problem too as of 1:00 pm PDT in Sunnyvale, CA.

Well - as of now (4:22 PM east coast time, outside Philly), Xfinity streaming seems down.  Internet is working for me (streaming non-Xfinity content is OK).  Xfinity app isn't working.  Official status site seems down.

Out here in Cali I can't even access the Xfinity app.  It keeps telling me I need an internet connection---even though I have cellular data turned on on the iPad.

@endofwits​ I'm seeing exactly the same thing here, even on cellular, while I unambiguously have a live and solid internet connection.  I assume that if it can't reach the "mothership", it assume no internet connection.  There is one, but the mothership isn't talking.

@user_b8cj0e Thanks for posting to the forum to let us know. Has the TV service come back? The best way to find out what is happening is using the Xfinity Assistant or our Status page here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/check-service-outage.
