No 4K for Mariners-Tigers

Well, this [Edited: "Language"].  Mariners-Tigers started late and Xfinity carried the first few innings on one of its 4K channels (1390/91).   Now, it's time for the Yankees game and the Mariners game has been moved to FS2, no 4K.  Meanwhile, Xfinity has another Fox 4K channel (1354/55) which is showing the usual 4K promo loop.  Ugh.

BIslander  4K is always great when there is the option. We do not determine what is being broadcast in 4k for sporting events. The broadcaster would have control over where the 4k signals are available. The 4k games should show in your Xfinity guide. If those games do not match what is on the 4k channels, let us know.

@XfinityAmandaB Understood.  The issue here is that Fox and Xfinity together mishandled the rain delay of this game.  The broadcast was in 4K HDR at the start, then was switched to an HD channel when the other ALDS game telecast began, even though Fox and Xfinity have a second 4K channel that could have been used.

Clearly this was an unusual situation.   Disappointing that there wasn't a plan to handle it.
