Only tennis channel loses sound and rebooting does not fix it—other TVs in house have the sound. Other channels too

this happens regularly only to tennis channel.  Rebooting the box not fix it.  Random. Only tennis channel while other channels work, and tennis channel works on other TVs.  Do I need a new box?

Happening now no volume on 4 TV’s. Comcast needs to fix with Tennis Channel ASAP! Pay too much for cable not to have volume.

@user_6bu838​ Try calling Xfinity and have them reset your main TV box on their end. They did this for me and now have volume on the Tennis channel!

Xfinity in Chicago.  No sound for Tennis Channel only on all TVs in our house.  I can stream Tennis Channel on my computer and get audio but not on the Xfinity boxes.  It’s been like this for about 2 hrs so far today.  Nothing works to fix.  I’ve reset the SAP and rebooted the boxes.

Chicago - my home town! After a 30 minute chat with Xfinity and going thru all sorts of options, I finally have Tennis channel volume,  They reset our main XfinityTV box on their end and have volume now!  Hopefully this will last a while and maybe call them to reset your main TV box too.

Update:  I performed a reset/reboot of our main Xfinity TV box via the Xfinity app on my iPhone.  Tennis Channel sound is working on all of our TVs now.

Same problem.  Same solution.  Had to figure out which box was my main box.  I had rebooted other boxes and my gateway without success.  Maryland suburbs of Washington DC. Have sound now on Tennis Channel after about 6 hours of it being out.

After Xfinity did a reboot on their end, I had sound on all TV’s on the Tennis Channel. However, it only lasted about 2.5 hours and now back to no sound. Xfinity needs to get this issued resolved…very frustrating!

They operate with equipment out of the 1980's!  I have Paramount+ and it looks as if it is being broadcasted in analog!  And I pay over $400 a month for this joke of a cable company.  The ONLY reason I stay with them is because my wife has to have the Tennis Channel and YOU TUBE TV does not offer the Tennis Channel and now Comcast can't even get that channel right.  A REAL JOKE!!  They cannot go away soon enough

The other work around is to tune to the Tennis channel station that’s not HD. The picture is not as good but there’s volume at least!
