recording starts late and ends early

I understand that you are aware that all DVR recordings start late and end early.  By adding the buffer to the beginning conflicts with the next recordings.  When I am recording shows during prime time, I’m usually recording 5 shows and when they end I may be recording 5 more shows the following hour.  By adding a buffer your system won’t allow the next group of recording to start.  Please fix the timing which has been ongoing for years.  it’s frustrating to watch a 2 hour show only to have the very end cut off

Yes, I have had issues with all recordings starting late and ending early for years.  Unfortunately  since I’m recording more its really affecting me.

bjs1245 If you have multiple boxes is it happening with all the boxes?

I only have 1 X1 DVR and it’s new.  I have had probably 3 different X1’s over the past 5 years and they have all started recordings late and ended early.

bjs1245 Is it that the recordings are starting later and ending earlier than the times you set them for when recording, or the shows themselves are doing it? Just want to make sure exactly where the issue is.

if I’m watching live the shows start and end on time.  when i record them they start late and end early.
