Reminders that can not be deleted

I continue to get reminders for programs that I NO LONGER HAVE INTEREST IN AND CANNOT DELETE THEM ACCORDING TO THE PUBLISHED PROCEDURE YOU HAVE. THE OPTIONS TO DELETE DO NOT EXIST.  THIS IS BECOMING VERY ANNOYING AND IF YOU CANNOT FIX THIS I WILL CANCEL MY SERVICE WITH XFINITY.

Hey there user_k7wjox 👋 I know exactly how annoying it can be to receive notifications for things that I couldn't care less about, whether it be on my TV, my phone, or anywhere else, so you've brought this to the right place as Xfinity does actually have a way to manage reminders for specific series through our X1 equipment 👍 To delete reminders on your X1 box, follow these steps:

  1. Using the on-screen guide, find and highlight the program for which you set a reminder, then press the INFO button on your remote.
  2. Highlight Reminder Options and press the OK button.
  3. Select Cancel Series Reminder and press the OK button.
  4. A confirmation message will appear, indicating that the reminder has been canceled.

This process will remove the reminder from your scheduled list. Please give these steps a try and let me know if they work for you!

Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page @user_uunxqx. I am sorry to hear the steps did not work. After deleting the recordings, would you be able to perform a quick system refresh and DVR sync to see if that helps clear things up?

To perform a system refresh, you can follow the steps on our 'X1 System Refresh feature overview' support page. For the Sync DVR feature, you would want to go into the settings (Gear), choose Device Settings, and select Sync DVR. This should help sync the settings and recordings with the Xfinity Stream service and cloud storage.

Give this a try and let us know if you are still experiencing issues.
