Remote Low Battery Warning

Remote life is at 20%. The last time this happened I needed a new remote. This remote is not chargeable and there is no way to replace battery.  This is an xfinity remote for xfinity cable.   Tried to order via chat bot multiple times and getting no response

Hello @user_2adeb1, thank you for taking the time to leave a post.  Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Xfinity remote and that you haven't been able to get assistance through the chatbot. I can certainly understand how frustrating that must be, especially when you're receiving a low battery warning and it appears that there's no obvious way to replace the battery. The good news is that all Xfinity remotes use replaceable batteries. If you can tell me which model remote you have, I'd be happy to guide you through locating and removing the battery cover. Many of the covers are designed to fit securely and can be a little tricky to open the first time. If you're not sure of the model, let us know which buttons are on the remote or send a description of what it looks like, and we'll help identify it from there. We're happy to help get your remote working properly again!

The images on https://www.xfinity.com/support/remotes may help you identify the model.

XR15 voice remote.  The last time this happened I was told there was no way to change the battery and had to go xfinity store and exchange. If I can change the batteries that would be ideal

user_2adeb1 I am glad to hear @BruceW was able to share some additional information about the remotes. Did changing the batteries help with your remote issues? Or are you still experiencing any issues?
