Removing a reminder on your TV

How do you remove a reminder for a show you no longer want to be reminded about?  The reminder was set for a "series" amount of time, instead of a "single" reminder.  The show only came on once, but I continue to get a reminder almost daily.

The concern is not "Community Center" help related................... Topic moved here to the TV help section for assistance.

Hello @iveyleague4439, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum and we would be happy to help. To cancel a program reminder follow these steps:

Using the on-screen guide, find and highlight a program that you had previously set a reminder about, and press the INFO button on your remote control.
Highlight Reminder Options, and press the OK button.
Highlight Cancel Series Reminder, and press the OK button.
The Series Reminder Canceled confirmation message appears on-screen, and you're good to go.

Please let us know if that helps.

There are no reminder options in info. How can I find if I have an X1 remote?

Hello, @bobbyp1945 are you following these steps to set up a reminder?

  1. Use the on-screen guide to find the desired program and press the INFO button on your remote.
  2. Highlight Remind on the action bar and press OK.
  3. Customize the reminder details: select the Reminder TimeDisplay onEpisode Type, and Channel.
  4. Press Confirm to create the reminder. A confirmation message will appear on-screen.

You can view and modify reminders in the Saved > Scheduled menu for the next 14 days.

For more details see: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-program-reminders

All X1 remotes have a voice button (microphone symbol) on the remote.
