Sleep mode

I'm not happy with the sleep mode on my TV. We use it to comfort our cat during the day. Even when I'm home, this is very irritating.  I pay too much for cable to have this issue. I'm not happy.

user_xqtma3,
Hi! Thanks for reaching out. I completely understand how important it is to have the TV stay on, especially when it's being used to help keep your cat comfortable during the day. I'm sorry to hear about this experience and how this has been so frustrating. We'd be happy to take a closer look and see what options may be available. Can you tell us what TV box you're using and when the sleep mode typically activates?

I have the XG1v4 set top box and it has a setting to turn off the sleep mode.  It's under Settings/Device Settings/Power Preferences/Power Saver.

I am new customer three days in and have a huge problem with the TV going into sleep mode or nap mode.  This was never explained to me when we were signing up and I was told that if you use the remote at least once every four hours it will not go into sleep mode but last night it went into sleep mode 30 minutes after i changed a channel.

user_0htg0q have you used the remote to view and edit your settings? As mentioned in the post, hit the Xfinity button on your remote, then go to Settings/Device Settings/Power Preferences/Power Saver.
