Technician just left and problem returned

Our TV froze about 3 days ago and we lost WiFi. The technician was just here. Everything was working when he left, but about a half hour later, the TV froze again.

I was struggling to figure out how to reach a live person when I got a call from an Indian call center checking to see if the problem was resolved. I explained the situation and he was in the middle of apologizing when the call disconnected. He did not call back and dialing the number he used gives me a busy signal.

I’m extremely frustrated. Not so much by the issue itself, but by the inability to actually connect with someone at Xfinity in real time.

Greetings @user_qu6aup, and thank you for posting on our Xfinity Community Forum! We thank you for sharing this, as it’s definitely not the experience we want, especially after a visit where things initially seemed fixed. I understand how frustrating that must be.

When you have a moment, please try restarting your X1 TV box using the steps here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-reboot-my-set-top-box

And to check your WiFi connection using the steps here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/internet-connectivity-troubleshooting

After following those steps, are you still experiencing the freezing or WiFi issues? We’re happy to take a closer look if it’s continuing.
