Tennis Channel 844 - DVR not recording sound

The DVR is not recording sound on Tennis Channel 844. Sound is present on real-time reception.

Other channels are recorded with sound and picture. Started last night.

Refreshed TV box. Unplugged TV box to restart. No change.

@user_0810e9 Have you tried using the Xfinity app to troubleshoot your TV concerns? All you need to do is open the Xfinity app, go to Services, and then Troubleshoot TV.

@XfinityMartyR ,

Xfinity app navigates to Xfinity Assistant, which is not responsive.

Now, the Assistant progresses to prompts for the typical connectivity diagnostics. That's not relevant, because this is channel specific.

Hello @user_0810e9!  Thanks for posting on our Xfinity Community forums!

So you can hear the sound when you play the channel 'live' but not from a recording?

You've also reset and refreshed the TV box itself, do you have any other TV's you could try to connect the TV box to in order to ensure the same problem persists on a different TV? (Just trying to rule out an audio settings issue with the TV itself.)

Also, can you tell us the make and model of the TV and what TV Box model you have?

Have you tried using a different cable to connect the TV to the Box (HDMI, etc?)

Oh, and one other thought @user_0810e9, if your DVR recordings are cloud based, have you tried to view the recording on the Xfinity Streaming App on a different device like a laptop, computer or phone, or smart TV?  If the sound is available on a different device directly, then it would help point us in the right direction as to whether its a channel issue or a hardware issue.

Yes, sound playing live, but not playing recording.

'cc' on shows text, but still no sound.

Same problem playing back through xfinity stream app.

This is channel specific. Your diagnostics for non-xfinity hardware and interconnects make no sense.
