update window

I have set my daily update to happen between midnight and 2am so why does it sometimes (like once a week) update at a time outside this window (like 4am)?

Hello @user_j02j2f, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum and we would be happy to help. Please check out Change the Daily Update Time on your X1 TV Box for more information. If you’re an Xfinity X1 customer, your TV Boxes will automatically restart once per day to ensure that you have all of the latest software. This restart, also known as the Daily Update Time, happens by default between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. local time.

I have already set the update time a few years ago and have checked that it is set between 12-2am many times.  Your response does not answer my question.  There is obviously something wrong on Xfinity's end.  Please fix it so this does not happen again.  Please Confirm!

user_j02j2f, ahh. Have you rebooted your equipment to recheck? What about selecting another time, saving, reboot, then select your preferred time, save, and reboot? I had to change mine and mine does not interfere with my viewing anymore. That peace of mind is definitely something needed.
