Have you by any chance tried using the incredible Xfinity app to reset the box? How about a power cycle, have you tried that?
Constantly it works a couple of times and then it doesn’t and completely shuts down. No xfinity tech has told me about a power cycle . I know a lot about cable tv after 40 years please tell me something I don’t know. This has gone on for a year and I am on box 6 and no one knows anything
user_1q3kvz Thank you for that information that does sound frustrating. A power cycle would just be removing the box from the power by unplugging it from the power at the wall. Most of the time we recommend at least 30 seconds before plugging it back in. If you have replaced the box 6 times I am sure the issue is not the equipment. Are encountering any error codes or messages?

Yes to the app. Again please tell about the power cycle. I have not heard it but neither have your Xfinity techs either. I know more than they do. This has gone for a year of getting rdk 30333 constantly then unplugging fixing it briefly until it doesn’t work anymore. I am on box 6 and no one knows anything. I am a 40 year customer and I know what I am talking about.

I have done that too. But I will try one more time on box 6. I have had two techs come out. They say nothing is wrong on the connection. This only started to happen on these voice control boxes a year ago. For 40 years previously I never experienced this. One more try. Definition of insanity.
