Volume & mute not working on xr11 remote with Samsung tv & soundbar

marymm1, Thanks so much for reaching out to Xfinity Support. The XR11 is my favorite remote. There are a few things you can try to get it to work. You need to make sure it is properly programmed to your TV. While the TV is on, press and hold the **Setup** button until the **All Power** button changes from red to green.
Enter the first 5-digit code for the TV manufacturer.
Aim the remote at the TV and press the **Power** button.
If the TV turns off, turn it back on and check if the volume and mute buttons work. If not, repeat with the next code.
