X1 box not working

X1 box will not turn on. I did everything the AI chat suggested, but still not fixed. I am expected to schedule a service call. I am renting the box from Xfinity and do not want to pay a fee for a technician if the box just needs replaced. I have tried to connect to a live agent, but the AI chat refuses to allow that. How do I chat online with somebody? Please help
