X1 box only pauses live tv for 20 minutes
My DVR box was replaced over the weekend with the X1 wireless box and now I can only pause live tv for 20 minutes, at best. This is a huge step backwards in terms of service quality. There are other issues which are either an issue or are a "feature" (fast forward jump back doesn't work, about a 2 second lag time before any action taken via remote is implemented, recordings paused for more than 5 minutes now exits to live TV versus staying paused indefinitely, and more) that also represent a step backwards in service quality. But for now, can the pause live tv issue be resolved?

Thanks for meeting us here about your X1 box and the pause function for live TV, @RuthL. For Xfinity X1 TV Boxes, the ability to pause live TV depends on the device. On XG2 or any Xi TV Box with a pre-inserted 4 GB SanDisk SD Card, you can pause live TV with a buffer of up to 25 minutes. For other X1 TV Boxes, pausing, rewinding, and fast-forwarding live TV is available except on RNG150 devices, but the exact pause duration buffer limit is not explicitly stated. If playback reaches the end of the buffer while paused or rewinding, it will resume normal play speed.
