xfinity app, tv and xfinity outage map not working

My Xfinity tv will turn to any channel but then only display a black screen, my xfinity app is not loading, and the xfinity outage map will not load as well.

Is Comcast Xfinity down? Many cable customers say yes

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — There is a massive Comcast Xfinity outage reported across the country Monday afternoon.

According to DownDetector, there are more than 25,000 reports in the past hour, as of 4:45 p.m.

Viewers have called into our newsroom reporting that they are unable to watch cable television. It does not appear that Internet customers are impacted by the outage.

Some of our Facebook followers have reportedthat it was down for about an hour, but came back on at around 5 p.m. Others are not as lucky.

Xfinity’s online status map appears to have trouble loading.

Xfinity has not confirmed the outages. It is unknown what caused the outage. We have reached out to them for a comment and an estimated time of repair.
