It's not clear what you are trying to do. Are you trying to connect your TV to your Xfinity box wirelessly? Assuming you could - and I don't think Xfinity's boxes can do that - I don't think TVs can just pull signals out of the air like that without a receiving device like, say, a Roku box or an Amazon Fire stick.
Hmmm...now there's something for Xfinity to think about: an "X1 box stick" that you stick into an HDMI input like a TV, and the cable box can send its signal to the stick wirelessly. However, it would require that the X1 box itself have some sort of WiFi transmitting capability.
