xg1v4 box no longer connects to the network
This device has been a pain since Day 1. It required multiple daily restarts/resets from the get-go. Now, it doesn't work at all. I need a new one and I've been directed to post here about it. So, here I am. I've tightened and secured every cable, cord and connection numerous times, so please, spare me. It's been restarted more times in the last 2 days than all previous comcast cable boxes I've owned combined.
It would freeze constantly, but would work for a short while after rebooting. Its at the point now where the box has a dim white light and is constantly trying to connect for about 24 hours. The input is stuck on "reference board". I'm packing it up in about 5 minutes and returning it tomorrow.
