XR-11 REMOTE IS TOO STICKY TO TOUCH

Hi folks. I have two XR-11 remotes. Over the past few years they both have gotten way to sticky to touch. It's like the plastic is breaking down. I have Googled several ways to attempt to rejuvenate the plastic, from various pastes to WD-40. No luck.
Has anybody had success making them touchable again?

I simply can't get myself to like the XR-15 supposed upgrade for various reasons.

b12 Thank you so much for your post for help with the XR11 remotes. They were nice and I had a few till they met with my dog so I understand wanting to hold on to them. We do still offer the XR11 remotes however since the 15 is the current option the XR11 only gets sent out if the 15 is not available. Some local stores may still have some on hand but for shipping, I would not be able to say for sure what model you would receive. If you want to give it a try we are always happy to help!

Xfinity STOP refurbishing the remotes. Whatever you're doing to them which makes them sticky is disgusting. Step it up! It's been far too long w/this cr*p for these high prices...and we're not happy!
