XR15 pair with XID-P

Trying to pair an xr15 with an XID slave and entry screen for the code appears on the TV with the main box.  Main box is located on the floor below the slave box.  Can anyone help?

Same problem. Box does not find remote when “Scanning for Devices…” Reset to factory settings (A+D, red to green, 9-8-1). All buttons on X15 work  on TV except on/off, volume and MIC. XiD-P is also a “slave” to the main box downstairs. Three-number code appeared on downstairs TV rather than the one with the box I am trying to pair remote to.
