activating pod no option to add it under device

I have the app and a new @2G pod and when I look under devices using the xfinity app, there is no option to add a pod. I have the other 3 options, like adding a new gateway, adding a camera, or adding a doorbell. I have a customer owned XB6

Hello. Thank you for reaching out for help with your xFi Pods. I would want them to work right away as well. It sounds like you have started the process, but I want to ensure you are taking the steps outlined here, on activating your xFi Pod.

@jokersmith, is this where you are not seeing the pods listed?

Getting Started

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your phone (recommended).
  2. Sign in with your Xfinity ID.
  3. Select the Account icon (The Account icon is displayed.) from the top-left corner of the Overview tab.

The xFi Gateway and Pod page is displayed.

  4. Select Activate xFi Pods under Devices section.

The Account page is displayed with the option to Activate xFi Pods under Devices.

@XfinityBrandon  Yep I know the instructions and followed them to perfectly fine. Like I mentioned there is not the option to Activate XFi Pods listed under Devices.

Thank you for letting me know. Let's dive into this a little further, you are in the right place for help. Send me a Private Message, to get started.

To send a "Peer to peer" ("Private") message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it

I no longer work for Comcast.
