I cannot get my xfinity app to get past the sign in page randomly. Never had an issue and while I was actively using it a week ago, it signed me out and loops back to me entering password endlessly. Internet browsers work fine and I’ve tried deleting and redownloading it, checking for updates, changing the default browser that opens with sign in page.

Good afternoon user_wwnrou! I definitely understand the importance of being able to access the app to manage your account. Thank you for the steps you have taken so far with the troubleshooting as well. Usually uninstalling it and downloading it again does do the trick. If all of those steps have not worked, I will need some additional information from you.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

 

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
    The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
  • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
  • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
