Desktop unpaused in app but desktop says it is still paused

My desktop tells me it’s paused every time I connect to wifi, but in the Xfinity app it says it is unpaused and fully connected. I have reset my modem, reset my desktop, reset my phone with the app, all several times. I have paused and unpaused my desktop, I have tried everything I can think of here. It is very frustrating!

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue. To send a "Peer to peer" ("Private") message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it

Hi @user_1516e9

Thank you for sharing that you are also having this issue. On the desktop, have you tried to forget the network and then reconnect to it? If not, please attempt this step and let me know if it helps.

@user_881df8 thank you so much for your comment for help with your Xbox still coming up paused after checking the app to make sure it is unpaused. This can happen on your device's end if it gets stuck with the paused connection. Resetting the Xbox and modem does not clear out the information causing the issue. If you go to settings in the Xbox menu and then down to general. You will see the Network settings. In network settings, you will see an option to go offline. Pick that option. Then you can go back to set up wireless network to reconnect by picking your network in the list and reentering your Wi-Fi password like you are connecting a new device. If you are using a hardwired connection try unhooking the hardwire then performing your reset and then reconnecting the cable once the Xbox is back online. Let me know if that helps!

I am curious if there is any help to correct this issue. I paused my son's cellphone which I've done daily for weeks but when I unpaused his phone, his device thinks it's paused. We rebooted his phone, rebooted my phone with the app. What can I do to fix this?

I can definitely understand the frustration this issue would cause! It's important to me that we help find a resolution. Have you tried going into the app and forgetting the phone from the network, then forgetting the network from the phone and try to reconnect that way?
