Discontinue of Xfinity phone remote app
Please explain why you have removed this app. Once again you make a sweeping decision without checking with your loyal customers. While your web page insists that you listen to your customers and value their input, you continue to make choices at the expense of your customers who are paying for you to continue to operate. Just once, I’d like to see you put your money where your mouth (webpage) is and restore this app that is obviously so valuable to your customers.

Agree completely, used this app every day. It had multiple functions that all worked reliably. What the hell? The physical remote is no substitute. Do you want me to give up the cable box?

The Xfinity TV Remote app is retired. If you have the app installed on your mobile device, you will be unable to use it. You may find the app non-functional and/or may encounter various error messages when attempting to use it.
As an alternative to the Xfinity TV Remote App, you can use the Xfinity Web Remote or our award-winning Voice Remote. The Xfinity Web Remote has the same features as the Xfinity TV Remote App. We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback and hope these altrnatives fit your household needs.
