I have xFi. I want to block certain websites only. How?

Before xFi I could block individual websites using the router settings. This no longer works.

Using the xFi app, it appears I can completely cut internet to certain devices, but I see no way of only blocking certain websites.

How would one go about about blocking certain websites only using this xFi setup? Certainly something new and improved doesn't offer less functionality than its predecessor, does it?

Even with xFi you should still have access to your modem's settings. Here is some information to get logged in, ‎ANSWERED: How do I log into my Xfinity provided Modem? | Xfinity Community Forum.

If that does not work, where is it failing, which step? If it fails, do you get an error message of any kind? If so, can you share it here?

I do have access to the modem settings. The problem is that they do nothing anymore.

For example, if I try to block YouTube by entering the URL on the "blocked websites" list, it still allows access to YouTube.

Hello @user_66spz7  Did any of the above information help? What type of device are you using to set up the blocks?
