Port forwarding on the xfinity app no longer working

Hello! I have Port forwarded using the xfinity app before(and when I could still do it on the website). I bought a new PC to host a server on and I tried to Port forward using the app (the website was easier) but now the app just says "something unexpected happened we can't display your details right now please try again or come back later" and a purple button that says "try again". I haven't been able to navigate to a phone number to call for help, and from what I've seem from others it's not very helpful. How do I fix this?

And for clarification this issue has been going on for a week or so.

Good evening @wifibuddyhello, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums with your port forwarding issues. We're sorry to hear that you are receiving an error and will be happy to help troubleshoot further. Can you please verify that the device is connected to your WiFi network and powered on? If so, can you please try to close the Xfinity app and relaunch it?

@wifibuddyhello  Got it, and thanks for doing so. Okay the access may be limited on the Xfinity router, and you may need to get an owned one that grants you the full access if it continues. You can try the router portal instead of the app, that is another way to add a port forward for a device. Check out the details here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/port-forwarding-xfinity-wireless-gateway. Its different than the app, though the app is the official and recommended way to add one. If it continues, having an owned gateway will let you open any ports you need. The Xfinity gateways limit the port forwarding to keep things safe and secure.
