Set home alarm remotely

One of the reasons I chose XFINITY home monitoring was because I was able to set and disarm my alarm remotely. Now that the XFINITY home app is not accessible, that feature is no longer available. This is something that is critical to a security system to me and should be made a priority from XFINITY. Not having access to that feature for many months is unacceptable.

user_enqh7l We do still offer the Xfinity home app to help manage your Home security options when away from your touch pad. I use this feature frequently and is also one of the reasons I went with Xfinity for home security options. Check out this page for our dowload options and to make sure you are using a compatible device.  When using the app you see your current armed status and all you need to do is tap there to change to armed. If you are not able access the Xfinity home app check your device to make sure it is compatible and up to date as well as the app.  The account owner and manager would have access to the options using the app so you may want to check your Xfinity ID as well.
