TV Remote App on iPhone not recognizing devices
I’ve tried contacting Xfinity Support several times through Assistant Chat bot and have connected with couple of Agents. Useless. I have the Xfinity TV remote App and it used to work. A couple of weeks ago it stopped recognizing my devices, and an Xfinity Tech Support Agent told me I should upgrade my boxes. So took them to an Xfinity store replaced them, set them up, still nothing.
I’ve deleted and re downloaded the app. Nothing. Logged in and out, restarted the cable boxes, nothing.
When I go into Setting/Edit Devices the following is displayed
YOU HAVE (0) TVS SET UP WITH XFINITY TV REMOTE. YOU CAN NAME THEM FOR EASIER IDENTIFICATION.
I have 2 TV’s set-up and they are both named and working.

@Anon44415 Thanks for reporting the issues you're having with the remote app. I can certainly understand your frustration.
The app does not work with all boxes. I have a link from our famous website which has those boxes https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/eligible-cable-boxes-cable-tv-app.
